Goat is an upcoming American animated sports comedy film directed by Tyree Dillihay and written by Aaron Buchsbaum and Teddy Riley. The film stars Caleb McLaughlin, alongside an ensemble voice cast including Gabrielle Union, Stephen Curry (who is also producer on the film), Nicola Coughlan, Nick Kroll, David Harbour, Jenifer Lewis, Aaron Pierre, Patton Oswalt, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, Eduardo Franco, Sherry Cola, Jelly Roll and Jennifer Hudson. It follows an anthropomorphic goat named Will Harris who joins a basketball league in order to become the greatest of all time. The film was being developed by 2019 and announced in May 2024, with most of the cast being announced in June 2025. It is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 13, 2026, by Sony Pictures Releasing. == Premise == This original action-comedy set in an all-animal world follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Netflix signed for exclusive "pay 1 window" streaming rights, which is typically an 18-month window and included Goat and other future Sony Pictures Animation films; this deal built on an existing output deal that Netflix had signed with Sony Pictures Animation in 2014.
