First announced in March 2024, under the working title House of Guinness, this ambitious production from Kudos for Netflix is an eight-part saga. Tom Shankland directs the opening five episodes, with Mounia Akl helming the final three. Executive producers Steven Knight and Tom Shankland lead a stellar team, including Karen Wilson, Elinor Day, Martin Haines, and Ivana Lowell. Cahal Bannon serves as series producer, with Howard Burch as producer. Filming commenced in Cheshire in the summer of 2024, with further scenes captured in Stockport and Liverpool.
