Amanda Ungaro (born 1984) is a Brazilian former model, and a figure prominent in the Epstein affair. She was formerly the partner of Donald Trump confidant Paolo Zampolli; they separated in 2023.[1] They have a son, "G.", who was born in 2010.[2]
Early life
Born in Londrina, Brazil in April 1984, she is a Brazilian citizen. Her father was a public clerk.[3] She began her modeling career at 13.[2]
Career
As a 16-year-old teenage model, she had been flown to New York City on a plane owned by Jeffrey Epstein.[4] Her agent at the time, with whom she had boarded, was Jean-Luc Brunel.[1] She was signed to ID Models, an agency founded by Paolo Zampolli.[3]
In June 2014, Keith Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada, appointed Ungaro as United Nations Ambassador for Youth Affairs.[5] Ungaro has worked under a 69th United Nations Vice President (of which there were 21)[6] of the UN General Assembly for the Blue Economy,[7] and served—at least pro forma—as Grenada's representative at the International Criminal Court and at Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty sessions.[2]
After separating from Zampolli, she married a doctor from Brazil and lived in Aventura, Florida.[8][9] In 2025, she was arrested in Miami for running an unlicensed cosmetic surgery clinic (specializing in Botox), fraud, and overstaying her visa. Later placed in ICE custody (at Paolo Zampolli's behest)[8] for three months, she requested of an immigration judge to be deported back to Brazil, where she had previous residency.[1] There is an ongoing custody dispute between Ungaro and Zampolli over their son, "G."[2][3]
On 7 April 2026, a series of tweets emerged threatening legal action, etc., which had been sent in her name to Melania Trump in the second term of the Trump presidency.[10] Melania Trump held a surprise press announcement the next day denying any ties with Epstein.[11]
As of April 2026, Ungaro resides in Rio de Janeiro.[2]
